Amsterdam Gay Pride remains one of the biggest and best celebrations of its kind around the globe. It traditionally starts on the last Saturday of July and lasts until the first Sunday of August. The city is a vibrant rainbow of events in LBGT and straight venues alike, with dance parties, film screenings, sporting events, debates, exhibitions and much more.
The canal parade is one of the most famous events of the Amsterdam Gay Pride, because we are hosting EuroPride in
2016 we are going to create a very special canal parade.
This year the canal parade will be on Saturday August 6th. The floats will start their route in the Westerdok and will finish via the Prinsengracht, Amstel, Nieuwe Herengracht into the Oosterdok. The first float leaves at the Prinsengracht at 14.00h and the the last float will close the parade at the end around 18.00h.
