Vondelpark The most popular park of Amsterdam
The open air theatre in Vondelpark is famous. From cabaret to drama to concerts to dance, there is something here for everyone and of all ages. Worth a visit just for the atmosphere.

Outside the North gate of the park you can find the ‘Hollandsche Manege’. The Hollandsche Manege (Dutch horse riding school) was founded in 1882 and it is the oldest horse riding school in the Netherlands (see also page 7) Entrances in the north are close to Leidseplein and the museums on Museumplein.

By public transport: Take tram line 1, 2 or 5 from Central Station to Leidsplein. You can also take tram line 7 or 10.
